ForgetMeNots-Spominčice book series

This landmark series has the distinction of being the first bilingual series of books (English/Slovenian) for children from Slovenia by awarding-winning, and popular writers. International audiences have been introduced to Slovenia's contemporary children's literature with three USA reading tours since 2007 and the first Australian reading tour in 2009.

Language schools and parents
Aimed at two markets outside of Slovenia at this time, the books are recommended to; parents and relatives proud of Slovenian heritage, and interested in quality children's literature and educators teaching children Slovenian as a second language. The books are used in primary schools in Slovenia.

For teachers - Workbook of learning activities with four books
The Workbook for teachers consists of language and reading activities to accompany the reading of four books, "In the Land of Gingerbread", "The Giant Hen", "Spots becomes a World Champion", and "Emil Rabbit".
The workbook is used in Slovenian primary schools and has been translated into English by Aleksandra L. Ceferin in September 2009. There is a downloadable pdf version on the Web from the following link:

Ljubljana World Book City 2010
In celebration of Ljubljana's role of World Book City from 23 April 2010 to 2011 the books are offered at a reduced price. After all books have been sold in Australia, so far 65%, they can be purchased through order from Slovenia at Sodobnost International. A selection was gifted to the partner organizations of the Australian Reading Tour and are held in libraries: Baraga Library, ISSV Library, and State Library of Victoria.
